@nothingislost on mobile the plugin page says "this plugin does not support your device" so figuring out what it takes to enable the plugin on mobile devices seems like the first step, maybe you already know ¯_(ツ)_/¯

From there, workspaces can be accessed via the command palette. Then I think adding our own workspaces icon would be good as another method for opening workspaces. One step at a time though :)
