[REQ] Deault window size #19

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
If Windows taskbar option "Auto-hide the taskbar" is disabled, with default
program window size part of big image appears under windows taskbar and can't
be seen.
Can you change default window size related on this option and decrease a little
when "Auto-hide the taskbar" is disabled ?

TIA.

Sounds reasonable.

What happens if you toggle it to full-screen, does it fit then, or does it also
get hidden by the task bar?

Full-screen works ok, because taskbar hides in it.
BTW, initial problem seems exist only if "Keep the taskbar on top of other
windows" is enabled.

In that case this may not be so straightforward to fix, since you're asking for
"keep the taskbar on top of other windows". That means you're ok with the
taskbar covering over windows, so Windows probably reports the available
desktop space without counting the taskbar. (In fact, I don't understand why
'keep taskbar on top of other windows' is even available if auto-hide is
disabled, since I don't see how the two together make much sense. It's not
available in the Win7 machine I'm on now, but I'll check an XP machine later.
