Hello! I recently got an 8th generation Kindle that came on an old version(I think 5.12) and installed the jailbreak. however, It didn't ask me to choose a language, there was no mkk folder and there was no logs or anything at the top right corner, but I was able to install the hotfix and there was a log file at the root directory. after that, I updated it to 5.16.2.1.1, and then it asked me to select my language. Every time I tried to jailbreak it (including before the update), it skipped the language selection screen. but now it's stuck in what I'm assuming to be this partial demo mode, where some things would give an error message about it being a Managed device (such as "Reset" in settings saying "Managed Device. "Reset Device" is locked. Contact: Your System Administrator."). However if I type ;demo it goes to the Demo Activation menu. Pressing "Yes" just reboots the device and does nothing. I was also not able to install the hotfix. I was able to get out of it by factory resetting the device by creating "DO_FACTORY_REFRESH" file at root. Am I just not timing step 10 good enough or is this an actual bug?
