batak ligatures If I may help: here is a list of all consonant+u ligatures in Batak, adapted from Uli Kozok's Batak Unicode font that ideally should be present in Noto sans Batak. Some of them may be achieved by slightly re positioning the vowel sign u, but many of them also need distinct glyph.

Added U ligatures where necessary. Others get mark attachment. batak1237

The new font is much better, but the 'liga' feature should be 'rlig', because 'liga' can be disabled by the user. Compare nyu with and without 'liga': ᯠᯮᯠᯮ
