Hebrew Italics + Range of Variable Axes #9

Hey I love Noto. Two things will make it better:

  1. Hebrew Italic variants. I know it's not an official part of the Hebrew language like it's of the Latin script and it's rare, but I was wondering if you consider it and you might release italic variants for Hebrew (and of course, for other scripts as well).
  2. Another thing I thought was worth asking is if you plan on adding more weights and widths. The ranges I'm aiming for are - weight 100-1000 and width 50%-200%.

  1. Rashi Hebrew is the "most" italic style of Hebrew you're going to get. :-)
  2. To be honest, I think we are unlikely to commission this. All Noto Hebrew fonts have a width axis, but weight extensions feel like a luxury. :-)
