Issue
The Kharoshthi vowel u is generally formed by curling the bottom left stroke of a letter clockwise to form a loop; that is, it appears above the baseline. This font renders the vowel as a loop attached below the letter, without integrating it into the letter at all. Iโve attached some example syllables; see appendix B of Glass 2000 for more.
