This issue is a reminder to myself to remove the Macintosh (PlatformID=1) 'name' table strings the next time the Noto Sans CJK fonts are rebuilt. There is no harm that these strings are included, and they simply represent data that is not used. The Noto Serif CJK fonts never included Macintosh 'name' table strings.
(The background is that I inadvertently neglected to specify the AFDKOmakeotf "-omitMacNames" command-line option when building the Version 2.000 and 2.001 fonts, but I just fixed my build script to remedy this upstream so that the next build will automatically fix this effective non-issue.)
