NotoSerifJP-Regular.otf NotoSerifCJK 1.001 non working on win 10 #169

both NotoSerifJP-Regular.otf downloded fromn here and from google font give me error in windows 10. All the other families ar ok

Can you be more specific? I don't see any issue with installing the fonts here on Windows 10.

That file somehow got corrupted. It's too small to be the right thing. Can you try downloading it again?

nothing to do - I downloaded it 3 more times: it's always 83 from https://github.com/googlefonts/noto-cjk

Did you get it from https://github.com/googlefonts/noto-cjk/archive/NotoSansV2.001.zip ? I just tried that again and it's fine downloading on Mac with Chrome currently. It also looks fine to me if I download the individual file from https://github.com/googlefonts/noto-cjk/raw/master/NotoSerifJP-Regular.otf

it was from https://github.com/googlefonts/noto-cjk/blob/master/NotoSerifJP-Regular.otf

Your link works, thank you notice: I downloaded and installed all the other families from the same page, I had problems only with NotoSerifJP-Regular.otf - can it be corrupted?

It looks like a download issue which could be the browser. Which browser did you use?

firefox 75 on win10 BUT all the other font family worked well, so your link. Notice that I had the problem from both https://github.com/googlefonts/noto-cjk/blob/master/NotoSerifJP-Regular.otf (that's different from your link) AND also google font website.

Usually it's best to try another browser or clear the browser cache and try again. Anyway, glad you could get the file now.
