As the title says, U+5350 (卐) and U+534D (卍) are not the same size. One is bigger than the other at the same font size. I'm no expert on the subject, but judging from other fonts, these two characters should be the same, just flipped, at least in the sans version.
In the serif version, it's difficult to tell since they're drawn differently, but one is still actually bigger than the other. Strangely, it's the other character that's bigger compared to the sans version.
