Initial transition faulty

  1. Steps to reproduce
    Slowly scroll up
  2. Observed results
    Background image flickers off and on then returned to top upon release of finger. fast scrolling works ¿¡satisfactory¡¿ but BG image loads late and does not display fully.
    BG-Image only displayed top 15-20% in landscape before flickering on /off.
  3. Expected results. Smoothly scrolls no flickering and able to view fully the BG image
  4. Additional information README.MD needed update of noto homepage link.
