I have a problem, how i can install missing Noto fonts in Android system? For example, missing font weights like bold, light, medium, thin or black, and/or missing noto fonts, like Noto Serif Yezidi, Noto Sans Arabic, Noto Serif Nyiakeng Puachue Hmong, Noto Sans Medefaidrin, Noto Sans Hanifi Rohingya, Noto Sans Multani, Noto Sans Caucasian Albanian, Noto Serif Tangut, Noto Music, Noto Serif Dogra, Noto Sans Zanabazar Square, Noto Sans Soyombo, Noto Sans Nüshu, etc.

Yezidi is in development and has still has some open issues to make it workable, even if it may still be tuned later; there's also a summary of missing scripts (with a script code already defined in ISO 15924, and either already encoded in Unicode/ISO/EIC 10646, or still not in Unicode/ISO/EIC 10646 but with possible pending proposals for discussions and evaluation only using custom fonts with private mappings) in issue notofonts/makasar#1: Font for "Makasar" is missing.

Not all files in this repository will be imported to the Android base ecosystem, but you can still test them within browsers; Android developers can try tweaking the system settings, but there's more than just fonts to work on to ingrate the script to the UI.

Adding style variants will come in a second step (for example if bold or italic styles are missing, web browsers way synthetize them, but of course it will look better with specific designs, or if a variable font is finally created, and renderinig issues at small sizes caused by autohinting are solved). All these is a long term goal, there are tons of things still to do and test in Noto fonts, notably for minority languages and scripts.
