Wrong font names prevent installing

Font: NotoSansTC-Bold.otf and NotoSansTC-Regular.otf as well as Montserrat-Bold.ttf and Montserrat-Regular.ttf

Downloaded here: https://fonts.google.com/noto/specimen/Noto+Sans+TC?subset=chinese-traditional&noto.script=Hant and here https://fonts.google.com/specimen/Montserrat?selection.family=Montserrat&query=montserrat at 13.01.2023

Windows Laptop with Word 365

Issue: The names of the fonts as you download them differ from the names which will be used for installation. Meaning while downloading it, all font types have a different name affix (eg Medium, Regular, Bold, etc.). But once I want to install them, the name affixes are sometimes gone. This causes that more than one font have exactly the same name. This in fact causes Microsoft to have the impression of having the same font. Meaning if I installed the first one and want to install the second one this is only possible by overwriting the first. In the end, I can only install one font instead of multiple ones. AND it is really confusing for a user if you wanted to install the Bold version, but this name is not shown in Word. Therefore, I would like to ask to rename the inner software names of the fonts as they are when they are shown on the website or during the download before installation.

Screenshot:

Here you can see the difference in the original font name and the font name, which will be used for installation. For both the Bold and Regular version, the name to be installed is simply Noto Sans TC. This causes the problem that either one OR the other can be installed. It is exactly the same problem for Montserrat. image image

Can anyone help me here? Because we are at the edge of relaunching our corporate brand and I really face this issue as I cannot install the fonts. Thanks a lot!

Best regards, Christin

At least the reason for having two fonts with the same name was solved: the bold version is the same font, you only have to choose "bold" in Word. But the other with the names is still open. I would just recommend to change the inner names to be correct. But I do not need any help here anymore. If the names are solved, I am happy to receive the feedback. Thank you.
