I could not reproduce this. This is the font linked above displayed with fontview, which uses FreeType to render fonts (my machine is running Debian Linux):

@dscorbett what operating system are you on? In which application did you see these rendering issues?

I saw the problem in Chrome and Firefox on OS X.
