Just stumbled across this app on F-Droid. It looks really great. I was thinking about trying to build something like this, but probably not as good, considering my zero experience with Android dev. One thing I was curious about, is there any provision for syncing?
For instance, my wife and I work off the same budget and the same checking accounts. Is there anything in the app that would allow for our two phones to share budget info? If not, how is the budget data stored? Maybe I could try my hand building such a feature?
My background is web development, so my immediate thought is to build a web app (when all you have is a hammer, everything looks like nail, I guess), and have the mobile devices sync with the web app. Then you have the extra feature of being able to manage youor checkbook data via the web or your phone. That part is just thinking out loud though.
