When will this finally be merged?

I was thinking about holding off on this because it requires a major version bump, and I was looking at doing a pretty major change that would add support for converting chunks of html and make it easier to switch away from a specific compiler like marked (which would also probably require a major version bump).

However, it's been 17 days & I can't trust that I'll finish in any reasonable amount of time, so I'll just merge it now :P
