Outlook Mobile (Windows Phone mail app) rendering differences between different account types #9
Windows Phone and the native mail app (Outlook Mobile) render email differently depending on the account type.
For POP3/IMAP/Gmail/Yahoo etc. These accounts seem to render with IE Mobile.
For Exchange/Office 365/Exchange ActiveSync accounts the rendering engine is not IE Mobile but something completely different. I have yet to determine what the rendering engine behind these accounts are but they differ quite a lot even though they are within the same mail app.
A detailed investigation and documentation exercise is currently being done to explain this inconsistency.
