Can't play all videos

Currently installed both archos & Nova video player on Android TV.. archos can play all videos .. but not in Nova ... All videos unable to play

Currently I'm using Hisense tv running on Android TV with Android version 8.0.. all videos is playable on archos.. but not with Nova.. (videos on external hard drive 2tb)

OK I can play the video here on another device. Do you mean that you do not see the video or that it does not open? Could you please provide screenshot of the video info activity?

All the videos display correctly... But when press play the videos doesn't play... With archos..need to play the videos with 3rd party player like mxplayer@vlc..in built video player for archos doesn't play.. but using Nova..all videos player either mx@vlc@built in Nova video player can't play

Tested all released version.. only V3.8 Google Play release & V.2.2 Google Play release candidate version work and can play the videos... Newer version @ others doesn't play/open the videos

That video plays fine on the latest version. Those copies are encoded to work on pretty much any device, so both hardware and software decoding should work on your TV. Can you show us what you actually see when you play the video?

@hopexxx sorry to get back so late on your issue. Could you please confirm that you still have the issue on latest google play release? When you are saying "it does not play", could you please describe what happens when you hit the "play" button (i.e., does it open the player and end up with a spinning circle?). Thanks,
