Any idea on how to resolve this? NFO file is correct as it works in Kodi and Archos.

GrumpyLoneWanderer commented 2 years ago

Does anyone know how to resolve this?

courville commented 2 years ago

Can you please provide a file name and corresponding NFO file in order to reproduce? If it works with Archos it means that it probably works in nova v5 and that it is a regression with v6.

GrumpyLoneWanderer commented 2 years ago

@courville I can do you need nfo file or just data in them? I can copy and paste if that works?

courville commented 2 years ago

OK I get it (I am slow). You mean that you are using sorttitle tag in NFOs i.e. https://kodi.wiki/view/Movie_sets#Sort_Title as secondary means to sort videos and it used to work but not any longer. I checked old Archos/nova ones and I cannot find any trace of processing this tag. Are you sure it is working with Archos Video Player?

GrumpyLoneWanderer commented 2 years ago

@courville no problem, I can be too :). Yes it used to work in Archos, but I don't see it working in v5 or v6 of NOVA. I can try and get a screenshot in Archos (app is very bad lately it keeps crashing). It would be nice to be able to create playlists so I can organise movies in chronological order, I would have tried to do it via movie sets but I would run into same problem, and movie sets are pulled via moviedb and you can't add a movie to more than one movieset.

GrumpyLoneWanderer commented 2 years ago

@courville how easy would it be to add it to allow it to process?

GrumpyLoneWanderer commented 2 years ago

@courville is it possible to achieve this?

GrumpyLoneWanderer commented 2 years ago

@courville is this possible?

GrumpyLoneWanderer commented 2 years ago

@courville did you have any luck with this?
