Description

as you konw, for some people there are several files which not suitable to be shown for other fimily members in NAS. And it will be very simple to add a dot "." prefix in file name to make files hidden.

But we do need to watch these hidden videos via this awesome video player, it will be such a trouble that can't directly see hidden files in FTP/SMB server.

Cause I could see all the hidden files through network in "nPlayer", so I think maybe Nova video player could do this also. Please support this feature in future version. (or provide a switch to show hidden files or not)

Thanks, it is such a good video player.

Additional information

current version: 6.0.17

You can easily just not index the folders with content that is unsuitable for children and then just browse those folders manually using the SMB browser as a workaround until you get this feature. I would never put inappropriate content in the same folder as content you would want to show your family.

Thanks for suggestion, but I usually downloaded all the video by a software and it was hard to change the download path. So I just left all the video in the default download path
