If Nova perfectly detects metadata HLG HDR HDR10 HDR10+ and recently Dolby Vision, only the detection of the very old "Imax" and "Imax Enhanted" format is missing to be almost the perfect video player!!! Because as with the "Dolby Vision" added recently, if the "Imax" format is not detected by Nova, it cannot be activated manually later on the television...
Additional information
TV TCL65C825 Android TV 11 Mediatek 9615
I don't think it's very complicated to implement, the principle is the same as for the "Dolby Vision"
"Imax" track detected, sends the signal to the TV so that it can decode!!! But that's probably easier said than done...

Hello Jean-Pierre and thank you for your feedback, it's always nice to know that there is some follow-up on Nova!!! Examples, yes, I have! but given the size of the files, it will be difficult to send them to you... (unless you extract a few pieces...)

Hello, just to move the file forward and others..., you can visit this site, where there are practically all video and audio metadata formats on the market, these are test videos from the main television manufacturers, so, to do compatibility tests with Nova, I think this is the ideal site!!!
I would prefer working on real similar samples (you never know with names). @Philofil92 would you have a complete file name searchable over the net or even a torrent link to be sure that we are on the same issue?
Hello, sorry for the late reply, I had not seen your mail... Here are 2 links where you could find some demos in IMAX format
https://thedigitaltheater.com/imax-pre-show-trailers/
https://www.demolandia.net/cinema/imax-demo-trailers-hd.html
I am also attaching another link where you will find 4 torrent links, there are all kinds Video and Audio metadata that could be useful to you, either for the development or the control of the Video/Audio metadata when you make changes or add features to Nova... Be careful all the same with these torrents, which are of disproportionate size, up to about 670GB for 4K demos, so select only the files that interest you
Good luck to you

I think only torrent 1 and 3 can interest you
