x64 Managed dll fail #223

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
Who knows that?

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I should be able to send packets, add icons

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Newest TibiaAPI managed DLL branch, Windows 7 x64 Ultimate

Please provide any additional information below.
In classic dll I could compile as x86 and it works nice, on managed dll nothing
worked, Tibia is crashing after some seconds (without debug assertion) or when
I compile in x64 mode I can wait forever with .PipeIsReady.WaitOne();

Are you compiling everything in x86? Because the Tibia client is 32-bit, so
every, single thing has to be compile for 32-bit.

Yes, everything as x86 - clicked on my solution and set to 'Debug x86'

Some of my users are seeing a similar issue as well, Tibia crashes after
injecting. I have not been able to reproduce it on my main machine yet. Please
see if you can debug it.

I compiled the my program on Windows pro 32bit SP3 and it worked great. I tried
to run it on 64bit SP2 XP and it would not run. I tried to compile it on 64bit
same thing. Here is the error I get.

See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
    <system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.
