+1 for this. I live in Bucharest, Romania, and some times it shows
"Popesti-Romini, Bucharest, Romania", other times it shows "Cioplea, Bucharest,
Romania". Not sure what Popesti-Romini / Cioplea have to do with my city.
Cioplea, for example, appears to be some tourist area in ANOTHER city.
Also, I don't know where the weather info is coming from. Google Now shows
different values (temperature / conditions), the News application is disabled...
So... +1 for manual location input and weather service provider.

Same issue here from Malaysia, it is not providing the location on where I am .
I suggest to add on manually added location.

Not sure if it will fix it, but I posted a modified version that uses Weather
Underground instead of Yahoo Weather in the 'weather high/low' issue. You could
try that until roman fixes it officially.

Similar problem. My weather location had never been updated since I added the
widget. Even after uninstall and reinstall several times. Strangely this only
happens with my N4. My N7 seems to update fine.
Location: Malaysia

It will be nice to have an option to have the weather displayed without service
location activated.
Thanks for the lovely app, by the way.

My weather location is never right either. Every other app that uses my
location is correct though. Wish I could just set my zip code and be done with
it.

Also without using location you can save battery life and "all" applications
will not have access to your location if you don't wanna.
Agree to have a search feature.

Just to clear up some misconceptions, DashClock does not use GPS. It only uses
network location.

Yeap i know, but when you enable location (wifi/network), 2 google maps
process will start, and consumes memory and consequence a bit more battery
consume.
Tks for the heads up John.

Malaysian user here, weather extension works fine.
noticed that installing 'deep sleep battery saver' caused extension to fail
updating, showing only blank field. changed to 'easy battery saver' and weather
extension updates well.

Strange - after the latest update my location can no longer be determined. It
worked just fine before. In Ottawa, Canada. How about making it a user option
as to whether the GPS is used and possibly the ability to save a default
location to use if location can't be found?

Would be nice if you could hide your location but still show CITY

Yep. Also, to be able to rename the location manually... if you can't input the
location by ourself.

I think this is a must have feature. Manually configuring our location would
make it accurate and definitely will save battery and ram usage.

In the mean time you could use 1weather it doesn't show up in a dash clock
extneion search in the play store but provides a nice extension with fixed
locations.

I just released an extension that's based on the weather extension from
DashClock. It allows you to set your own location and shows forecasts in
expended view.

built-in weather extension will be getting an update soon.
