Important to have unit testing of the software this will facilitate the implementation of new database adapters

We started to test some parts of code on 4549bc293ef9288fdbcdef6b185c39b73094a7cb. Also, 4cbd42f27ccd6ec58ff5da88d886039d387f8560 has been improved test coverage. Leave this issue open until we got a better coverage (53% now).
