The current feerate is set at 0.8 NOVO per KB, this is good for microtransactions and normal users. NOVO also lets users send up to 8 MB transactions, same as the blocksize. With this in mind, someone could potential fill up a block for 6400 NOVO, which is roughly half a cent. With this conversion a dollar could roughly add 1.78 GB worth of transactions to the chain. This could led to a bloating of the blockchain seen with BSV and ZEC and could knock off nodes and miners.
I would highly advise boosting the fee or adding some type of spam prevention. Maybe a short term solution would be boosting the fees?
