Cervus indet. appears in two Miocene localities, whereas the genus is supposed to have originated in the Pliocene. In Sarihasan and Udabno, but also in Gura-Galben, it is used as a waste-basket. Propose to change these occurrences into Cervidae indet. indet., even though it may actually not even be cervids. But it would give Cervus its proper range.
