Setup using students DB

2) On the phone Database the user/lecturer will have a list of students stored with their usernames and ID numbers. 4) Then it scans students IDs, which are checked against the existing stored list and reports an error if some can’t be recognised (then there will be an option of “skip” or “store as it is”) 5) The final list is created in some text format 6) The lecturer has an option of either sending a request to the web server or just store it on the phone.

• create table for student list.
• add field to persons table reflecting if on list or not
• final output should show if student on list or not

• New approach
  • students and staff list are scanned, this populates the inbuilt list with data not already present.
  • This should also populates the list of studnets to be in the event.
  • When the student IDs are scanned the present field is changed from 0 to 1.
  • If not on the event list the student is added and the on list field is set to 0.
  • if not in the student list the student is added and other details requested.
• Add student list by QR code
• Add field to table showing present
• modify the current persons table to only contain rowids for the matching person
• Add officals list table also
• Remove the delete option from context menu

• Duplicate students arent allowed in student list
• Each time a student list is scanned 2 tables can be updated. the event list is populated with the list but the student list isnt always updated
