Home screen shortcuts for specific stops #57

I use a specific subset of tram stops during my day.

I understand that I can mark them as favourites, and have done so. However, it
would be nice to see some discussion on the likelihood of offering specific
stops as home screen shortcuts--that is, one touch of an icon on the home
screen to bring up next tram information for a specific stop.

Hi Alex,

Actually including dynamic menu items is currently difficult with the current
version of Tram Hunter. Have you considered just setting 'Favourites' as the
start-up screen if you want one-click access to your stop?

cheers

Sorry, but I've been a little ambiguous here. I'm referring to the Android
home/launcher screen as opposed to the Tram Hunter home screen. Does this
change things?

I see what you mean. You want to reduce it from two clicks to one.

I probably don't see a lot of value there, but maybe a widget showing next
times might be more appropriate?
