Arma 2: OA BETA version 122555 #102

Any words on supporting Arma 2: OA BETA version 122555 in the near future?

Is 1.0.5 currently using this beta? If it is the official beta for the game then yes I will support it, but if not then no. So far it seems the new beta is broken to the extent where vehicle cleanup is not properly working. This means I will have to rewrite part of the game itself to make it work properly.

Ok after looking at different forum it looks like the 122555 is just broken. So it looks like we'll just have to wait for the next Arma 2 beta update to fix it...

I'm one of the old school players that remember Infistars hacking tool that nearly brought the DayZ community to it's knees, thats why I dont want to support his tool. But after we updated our servers to 112555 there has been no turning back due to the fact that it often requires a reinstall of Arma to downgrade, and we know that we will loose a lot of players doing that. I wonder if theres a chance that this admin tool will ever support the 122555 version? If yes, where can I pay you the money that I am going to spend on the Infistar (Anti)hacking tool if this is not gonna support 122555?

The tool does work on 112555 and 1.8.2 fixes a few of the problems with it, however I am not able to fix the problems within the game. The 112 beta problems are mainly due to the game and the only way to fix it would be to manipulate the game content, which may require nothing short of deconstructing the game files (which is illegal).

As far as I know, the current problems with this tool on 112 is that the vehicle spawn may not work properly. This isn't an issue simply because you can give the player the money to buy a car (use the private items crate) or go buy the car and give it to them. If you are using 1.8.2 and have more problems than the car list them for me (as detailed as possible please) and I will do what I can to fix them.

I am sure that commander will get the new steam beta somehow so you shouldn't have to hassle with 112 for too long.

Just be sure to promote this tool to those who need an admin tool. I am strictly against infistar and what it represents. The creator has no regard for other people in any way and cares for nothing more than what can give him fun or profit. This tool will never require users to pay and it is wrong to require such for an entirely open source game.

The 1.8.2 version fixed most of our problems and the money is yours :)

Ohh yeah I got one. I would like to be able to make a key for a vehicle without a key :)
