I wonder what it's trying to do here—python-slip doesn't have a test suite. As it is, the project is pretty much unmaintained (and would need considerable effort to be "brought into the present", just see e.g. the Makefile generating a non-setuptools setup.py from a template).

If there is no dedicated pytest units still is trying to filter and scan code to pass them over some installed filters. Above output is from env where I have installed Everything™️ so some of those reports may be false positive or may e result of some bugs in those extensions. Simple not to many developers are running pytest in such reach env.

From that point of view do not take that output as strict bug report in slip module code 😊 If you don't see anything suspicious feel free just close this ticket.

Yeah, I couldn't reproduce the issue, probably because I don't have everything installed. :wink:

I'm curious what's failing, but without being able to reproduce I'll close the ticket. Thanks for the report nevertheless!

Just looking only on messages can you only asses could it be sometning which may point on some your module or some used by me extensions issue?
