I agree. If you want to throw some energy at making the npm site look and work nice, that'd rock.

Would it be a good idea to fork his? (https://github.com/dachev/node-lab) (And make the tags and all that a bit more intuitive, or something like that)
I generally still use the modules page to find things: I think one of these npm search engines would be much improved if it included the readme from github, or something of that sort.
Anyway, I'll save my complaining for when school ends and I have some time to take action on this. Have a good weekend and enjoy nodeconf+jsconf!
