Amazon Linux is not yet supported. Beta testing is under way for version 2015.03, but there are a handful of problems on version 2015.09, one of which I could not get past. Find related issue here.

I could fix the container that wouldn't start by adding an arbitrary env var to the run command, but the admin console would undo my fix when attempting to start the remaining containers.

Other problems I encountered before getting stuck:

• I had to manually change the supported version from 2015.03 to 2015.09 in downloaded install scripts
• Docker was missing an upstart conf file, so I had to manually start it via sudo service docker start and comment out the start docker command in the install script
• I had to manually remove and create the host/agent using the replicated CLI
