Why?

In our ongoing efforts to better listen to & collaborate with the community, we've started an Open RFC call that helps to move conversations & initiatives forward.

What?

All discussions surrounding RFCs are covered by the npm Code of Conduct. Please keep conversations constructive, civil & be mindful of when others are speaking. As is tradition, "raise your hand" when requesting to comment on a topic or request to comment asynchronously within the chat. The npm team may, at its own discretion, moderate, mute &/or remove a person from an Open RFC call for any reason.

Sorry, 2:00 PM EST(UTC-5) means 3:00 AM in my local timezone(UTC+8). Already reacted with the not-attending emoji. My RFC is simple. If had any questions, feel free to ping me in the pull request.

Same there, have UTC+7 timezone, so unfortunately can't attend this meeting. I have replied at my PR with suggestion how to implement this feature (or fix the bug, if you prefer that definition) without degradation.

Count me in. We didn't have much time left in the last one and i only recieved the notification 30min before start, which meant i coudn't do any preparations. So i very much appreciate the chance to talk about it again.

PR https://github.com/npm/rfcs/pull/197 can be taken off the agenda. See PR for more info on next steps.

This RFC doesn't require changes to the npm cli.

No worries to you all that can't make it to the meeting today, we'll still follow up with the RFCs and discuss next steps / action items. 😊

Also I'm sorry for a little bit of spam - the agenda got generated before I cleaned up some of the discussions from last week, it should now be updated to reflect the actual agenda. 😄
