rip out the less compilation and replace it with libsass
wait for the inevitable less fork of Bootstrap 4 and see if it is maintained well
just keep using Bootstrap 3
I think option 1 is our best option. Shouldn't be too hard to replace the less stuff for sass, and if the Python bindings work then it can integrate better into our stack anyway.
