I’m sure you know that there’s a little generic icon instead of a photo for both arnwine and Epstein.
Peter Schuck’s name is misspelled throughout.
Is there no way to do italics within the text (for the court cases)? Ok if not, just wanted to check.
I had some questions about two of nina’s comments, which I forwarded to beth, Charlie and ron – beth is out till july 7, but ron says he/Charlie will get back to me tomorrow.
I also question this passage – not sure whom to ask? Must be some words missing or something in the bits highlighted in red below:
NIKOLE HANNAH-JONES: While LBJ wanted to push for a fair housing law early on, the Fair Housing Act barring discrimination in private housing would not come for another four years. It would place the Fair Housing and Equal Opportunity office [under?] the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, which did and [should be at instead of and??] the time and continues to operate segregated public housing — an inherent conflict of interest. As a result, fair housing enforcement has been weak and often nonexistent. Many advocates believe that that fair housing would have been much more successful if the enforcement agency was stand alone, like the EEOC provided for in this act.
Finally, is the caption correct on the title X photo? I don’t so much see any clapping/singing …
Couple of more “macro” edits first:
