Seems like we probably want to formalize these relationships after all given that we want to do #60? Although this gets messy given that they are event streams. Need canonical models and "child" events.

Nope, better idea:

Scrape "universe" as a canonical set of refs, which don't record changes. Scrape a stream only for stories that hit the homepage.
