Describe the bug Segmentation fault in tutor2pp

To Reproduce

make
tutor2pp -i test1 -p tutor_data

Expected behavior (from tutor2)

Confirmed that this is a bug. I think that the EGS_SimpleApplication has been broken at some point. Right now I don't have a work-around, aside from just using tutor2 instead of tutor2pp.
