New Lesson: Automation with SaltStack #189

@Mierdin @ashwiniravindra and I are working on building a lesson for SaltStack. Please let us know if we can proceed with this content. This will be the next lesson to the introductory one created by Vinayak and Sudhishna.

@skondvilkar Hrm, this sounds like it might be best to make this an additional lab or two within the existing Salt lesson. Based on the very brief description, it doesn't sound like there's enough difference or workflow centricity to warrant a separate lesson - that's my initial take.

@Mierdin Hi Matt, Thank you for the quick reply. We are planning to configure BGP/OSPF Routing Protocol on 3 or 4 vMXs using Salt scripts. Please review the topology (PPT attached here), we are planning to build and execute this on. The intention behind creating this lesson is to educate and showcase the benefits of Automation with SaltStack including but not limited to Americas Partner Team.

Okay, a few things:

We don't currently have support for vMX - the network device we leverage today is the vQFX. If you would like to consider contributing the vMX image, I'd recommend connecting with @mwiget.
Again, I'm not sure the scope of this topic warrants a separate lesson. Configuring BGP or OSPF should prove fairly straightforward and brief. My recommendation is that you add this content as an additional lab/stage on top of the existing Salt lesson.

I just saw your email; let's keep the conversation here so that others can benefit. In short, yes the model is very similar whether you're adding a brand new lesson, or a new lab to existing lesson. In your case you would just contribute into the existing salt content by adding additional stages.

@Mierdin we have started working on this lab. It will be added as a new lab to the existing Salt lesson. No questions for now. Thanks for your help!
