host in 'down' state is showing wrong duration.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. a remote host LR01 is in a 'soft' down state in nagios.
2. i am in timezone GMT+8, the nagios server is GMT.
3. the 'duration' period for LR01 in nagios checker keeps resetting after
every soft down alert.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
 - nagios shows a 'down' duration of 10h.  the duration in nagios checker
is only 6m.

What version of the product are you using (Nagios Checker and Nagios)? On
what operating system?  
 - checker 0.15.3 in firefox 3.5.9 on xp sp2
 - nagios 3.2.1 on centos.
