As The Title Says :-)

I realy like the Nagios checker Plugin for Firefox, but the Filter Options are 
a bit to less...

So a nice option would be, to show only the notifications for specific host or 
service groups...

You can do this already. It is a bit hidden though. 

Go to Settings -> Nagios Systems -> right click on your server and choose Edit. 
In "Status Script URL" check "Set URL manually" and enter something like:
http://<yourserver>/nagios/cgi-bin/status.cgi?hostgroup=<hostgroup name>

It should work with servicegroups too.
