While using Firefox equipped with the nagioschecker plugin and filling in a text HTML form field the field is uneditable after a visual/audio alert occurs in Nagios #33

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Have Firefox equipped with nagioschecker
2. Be filling out an HTML form on a web site
3. Have a host/service problem occur in Nagios

What is the expected output?
You would be alerted of the host/service problem but you should be able to
continue typing in your browser

What do you see instead?
The form field becomes uneditable...I find if I click back and then forward
in the browser I can resume editing where I left off. Some web sites would
not allow a back and forward without loosing HTML field data input before
you click back function.

What version of the product are you using (Nagios Checker and Nagios)? On
what operating system? 0.10, nagios 1.2, Firefox 2.0.0.6 (it does not
seem to be Firefox version specific), with Firefox running on Windows XP Pro

Could you confirm this issue is realted with Nagios Checker? Me and nobody else
have
experienced this browser behavior.
Is there any public page with any form where you experienced this behavior
where I
can test it too? Thank you.

I do not have a public reproducible example to offer.

I will watch this closer...I usually hear the alarm sound play from Nagios and
then
my cursor will not move or type any text in the HTML form I spend a lot of time
using.

I just noticed that I do not have sounds enabled in the nagioschecker plugin so
perhaps if I have a Firefox tab open on Nagios in my browser that is causing
the problem.

I will keep trying to determine what causes this.

I have this same problem as well.

>> I just updated to the most recent version 0.12
>> I cannot continue typing in any type of form field [actually it happened
twice
filling out this field]
>> I can reestablish focus on the form field by clicking on any blank area or
the
current page, then click back in the form field.
>> the "focus[?]" on the field is lost after the nagios checker refreshes
[there does
not have to be a warning or critical state on a plugin]

Firefox 2.0.0.14
Window$ XP pro 2002 SP2
I also have other plugins that may be conflicting??
>> isohunt toolbar enabled
>> forcastfox disabled
>> keyconfig enabled
>> talkback disabled
>> web developer toolbar enabled

great work on the plugin, thanks.
