GM June 25 Summary of current situation: we have 23 galaxies with INT data. The orange line is a missing galaxy. Where is it? @ctortora ? Diana obtained spec redshifts for 22 of them. Values in red are those for which photometric redshifts differ from spectroscopic ones. Values with "*" are very uncertain results, given the very low S/N of the spectrum. For few of them, Chiara obtained an independent value, always finding a very good agreement.
GM 02/07 Diana has the log file of the observations lead by Nicola for the first run. We still need to find the log for the other run. AI @nrnapolita : find and send the log to Diana
GM 09/07 Nicola passed the log to Diana and she is working on that.
GM 18/07 Diana had some troubles in reading the logbook of the latest observation run and she had to spend some times understanding "what is what". More updates will come
GM 10/09 Crescenzo is writing a proposal to use NL time on INT. To be seen if we want to extend also to William Hershel.
AI Chiara: Prepare some figures of the spectra for which Diana measured velocity dispersion. DONE!
AI Crescenzo: MNake a table with ALL the galaxies already spectroscopically observed and collect the luminosities, redshifts, masses, etc... to get some numbers for the WH proposal and for ESO.
AI Crescenzo & Diana: figure out where are the slits of the third run at TNG (March 2017).
GM 15/10 XSH Proposal to study the stellar population (and IMF) of 10 massive, and old systems has been submitted. (Chiara as PI)
All previous AI have been done. Diana is working on the paper Crescenzo taught her how to use LEPHARE and now she is working on recomputing masses and check how many objects are confirmed as UCMGs
GM 22/10 SALT PHASE2 submitted
GM 22/10 Diana is making progress on the paper. If Peppe has time, he could run the automatic procedure (ppxf gui) to get another independent estimation of redshifts for these galaxies, and velocity and dispersion for the best ones.

The INSPIRE (Investigating Stellar Population In RElics) has been approved as ESO Large Program. Observation will be carried on in P104, starting in November 2019. The first ~30 objects will be targeted for a total of 82hrs.
