Improved Patch for Issue 26 edited src/tex/noweb.sty and src/tex/support.nw It is already available in the Debian Repo as revision2 and 3. You can see the test result under https://salsa.debian.org/ddp-team/dpb/-/tree/master (Source Code) and https://ddp-team.pages.debian.net/dpb/BuildWithGBP.pdf.

The patch was a little too aggressive. It broke plain TeX. But I believe v2_13rc should resolve everything.
