Then you will never worry about food, water or stamina. I don’t think it’s good, because to me, it’s the most exciting part to plan your route and explore with excitement and nervousness. Maybe you can open this “easy mode” when you reach level 12.

If 0 item lose chance is truly too easy, a small loss chance can be kept. Maybe customizable, maybe a more complex system. Dying would still cause injuries and follower loss even at 0 chance. If it gets added as a cheat, I think it's ok if it's "OP"
I think "easy mode" or other gameplay settings would be against the spirit of this game. It's not Minecraft, it's meant to be a fairly linear experience.
To me, the issue here is that you lost something you didn't feel like you could fairly easily recover and that was too frustrating to keep going. That shouldn't happen, regardless of settings and cheats. I'd be really interested to know what that was so I could think of ways to ensure the player can always think of a way to get what they lost back. Perhaps something like dropping your lost items where you died.

I think this leaves me with no choice but trying to play the game again and seeing how it goes, as I don't remember what I lost last time since it was a year ago
Game version version 0.2.7 (alpha)
Description This is a feature request for a very basic "easy mode" of the game where you don't have major penalties for dying/no item loss. I believe some casual players might want this too. I imagine this being something like Minecraft's "/gamerule keepInventory" command that prevents you from losing items on death, and maybe halves or nullifies chance to lose items for other reasons. I imagine it being a setting somewhere in the game or simply a cheat that turns off item loss permanently.
Context I've played this game almost a year ago and rage quit after dying and (from what I remember) losing something very valuable and barely being able to progress on the game afterwards, if at all. I personally don't deal well with losing progress on games and very easily make mistakes that get me killed in Level 13. I don't think I had a savefile backup. About one year later after rage quitting, I realized I still miss this game, but I don't want to go through the same that happened the first time again.
note: I know it is probably possible to avoid the issues above by saving the game more often, etc, but humans tend to make mistakes. I still think is a valid suggestion and it is something I really want.
