The standard (AFAICT) recommendation for how to do cross-referencing links into
another part of the same document in markdown is to use a standard <a> tag
(i.e., embed HTML).
However, gitiles's markdown rendering strips all HTML.
Would it be possible to get <a name="..."></a> whitelisted ?
If not, do you have any alternate suggestions?
Between this and issue 75, it's difficult to create a usable reference page :(.
