When I run precise-commits，the whole staged files were formated，not the exact lines I modified.

same here :( And due to this, precise-commits is not differnet than pretty-quick

I have asked a few colleagues. Appears to work as intended on macos, but not on windows.

I am using this on MacOS and I don't seem to be running into this issue.
