The "GPL v2 or later" licence SPDX code changed a few years ago from GPL-2.0+ to GPL-2.0-or-later. See https://spdx.org/licenses/GPL-2.0-or-later.html

Updated License Version The license in the main PHP file (poetwp.php) has been updated. The previous version was GPL-2.0+ but it was changed to GPL-2.0-or-later, representing an updated, optionally later version of the license.
