find a way to circumvent it (unless it is large enough to simply upload 2-3 files even for large collections)

Test 18.08.2018:

[x] 10k, 16 MB zipped: works, no error, done in 1-2 minutes
[x] 50k, 80 MB zipped: slow upload (3-5 minutes), file creation 1-2 minutes, no errors, total: 5 minutes
[x] 100k, 161 MB zipped: upload 16:22-16:30, doc creation 16:30-16:33, total: 12 minutes
