I had an interesting discussion with colleague, "is adapter trimming necessary in HiC-pro"?
150PE reads, maybe some nt are adpator, but alignment will only keep the aligned reads anyway, then RE sites trimming will further cut down the read length.
Is it possible that "adapter trimming can be skipped in HiC-pro"
