Visual selection and piping #4

Visual selection would be great also piping selection through external programs would make a big difference in terms of usability. :)

Sorry I'll say no for visual selection. There are regions, but they will stay invisible. Making them visible introduces a problem where you need to cancel selection in order to continue the usual workflow, I don't like that.

Piping selection through external programs will appear at some point, I don't know when.

If you really want to change something, just fork it. Godit was meant to be a personal editor and as I say in README, I'm very picky about feature requests.
