Consider documenting or linking to documentation on map tips. Maybe these just look like style data that can be easily contributed by a user!

Map tips have become much easier to develop in QGIS 3.32: https://qgis.org/en/site/forusers/visualchangelog332/index.html#map-tools

I think this feature is now "low-hanging fruit". What do you think?
